Underground Resistors is a new event concept for Chelmsford where a number of specially selected musicians are combined for a improvised live performance.

With no pre planning the performance will evolve as each musician takes inspiration from their collaborators and will lead to a completely original composition.

Artists in session:

Stark
(David Gooday & Simon Granger)

Sixth Circle
(Brokenatoms & Social Conduct)

Stark

Multi-directional live performance digital analogue electronic music producers STARK keep faith in the sound of the dirty techno underground. David Gooday is one of the founding members of Chelmsford’s finest industrial exports, Nitzer Ebb, and Simon Granger steered their aesthetic, Nitzerebbprodukt. The pair have only played a select number of shows but, with the help of friend Paul Fossett, launched the record label StarkFutures which has amassed almost 40 releases.

Sixth Circle

Brokenatoms and Social Conduct are no strangers to improvised performance and have collaborated on multiple occasions. Forging an understanding through electronic experimentation melding influences from post rock to techno, power electronics to ambient and more.

The performance starts at 8pm.
